Betty asks…
What happen to all the tenants and their leases in a foreclosed commercial property?
I just want to find out if the leases of a foreclosed commercial property (REO) are still valid and enforceable?

Usually the tenants must move. It is likely they will be evicted.

Paul asks…
What kind of commission do realtors receive on office leases?
Would someone kindly tell me the amount of commission someone receives for referring someone commercial leasing, say around 200sq to 2,000 sq spaces?
I’m being offered 4% on commercial leases and wondering if that’s fair.
Isn’t residential (apartment leases) referral payment equal to the first months rent?
More details…
This is in Austin, Texas, and price per square foot is $2-$3

You aren’t a commercial realtor, are you? Why not drop by the commercial realty sites to learn more?
Commercial realtors sometimes get a percentage for a period of years. It’s not a one-shot deal.
Check with CCIM.
